Please Keep The Loux Family in Your Prayers...

The founder of Josiah Fund, Derek Loux, was killed in a tragic car accident, early morning, December 23, 2009. Derek was the inspiration for both the Josiah Fund and the Orphan Justice Center in Kansas City, Missouri.  Derek provoked many with the message of the Father’s love and the call to adoption. Derek and his wife Renee have adopted 8 children, 3 with special needs, as well as having two biological children. Their vision is to see a place where orphans could be raised in a loving environment where Christ was the center. That vision must continue! Please give generously to the Josiah Fund to support the Loux family and their continuing work. Bless you!

our vision

Derek and Renee LouxMany of the children we will adopt will have special needs and we have a vision to restore them through equestrian, horticultural, and traditional therapeutic programs. We want to see them healed in the atmosphere of continuous worship and prayer at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City. The Apostle Paul tells us that when we make melody in our hearts to the Lord, singing songs of worship to Him, we get filled with the Holy Spirit (Eph 5:18-20). In Romans 8 we read that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Adoption who tells us that we belong to God. When the orphan begins to sing scripture to the Lord, making melodies in his heart to God, that orphan’s spirit begins to be filled with the Spirit of Adoption and they begin to know that they belong.

Will you partner with us to make that happen?

the need

Land - Project 68
There is a 45 acre piece of land near the House of Prayer we want to purchase and use to accomplish our vision. The acreage is wooded and ideal for
establishing equestrian therapy and horticultural therapy services. We estimate that it will cost $272,000 to purchase and prepare this land for construction.

A Home - Project 587
In order to house 50+ children and five to ten adults, we need homes. We are boldly stepping out to raise $2.5 million to build the Josiah Samuel Children's Homes.

$30,000 /mo. - One-27 Partners
We estimate that it will cost $30,000 a month in operating expenses to provide food, clothing, health care, therapy, and education for 50+ children.
