The Josiah Fund Goals Needs

The Josiah Fund seeks to provide land, a home, and expenses for special needs children Land
There is a 45 acre piece of land near the House of Prayer we want to purchase and use to accomplish our vision. The acreage is wooded and ideal for establishing equestrian therapy and horticultural therapy services. We estimate that it will cost $272,000 to purchase and prepare this land for construction.

A Home
In order to build houses for 50+ children and five to ten adults we are boldly stepping out to raise $2.5 million.

$30,000 per Month
We estimate that it will cost $30,000 a month in operating expenses to provide food, clothing, health care, therapy, and education for 50+ children.

We are asking 4000 people to each give $68 so that we can purchase the 45 acres needed to establish the Josiah Samuel Children’s Home which will house 30 children.

We are asking 4000 community/church groups or individuals to raise $587 so that we can build the Josiah Samuel Children’s Home.

We are asking 250 organizations or individuals to become 127 Partners by giving $127 a month to the Josiah Fund to be used for expenses for the children.

our family story

Derek and Renee Loux were married in 1992. Renee grew up on the mission field in the Pacific Islands and Derek grew up in a travelling ministry with his family. In 1994 their first child, "Josiah" was born with severe Spina Bifida. Living only 2-1/2 yrs, Josiah died in June of 1996.
