Miracle Stories - Tey & Key, Ethan, Silas and Sasha

Teyolla & Keyolla
“Tey” and “Key” were 10 yr old, beautiful little girls who were fatherless and living in an atmosphere of prostitution, abuse, and intense neglect. We adopted them from the Marshall Islands in 2002 and over the years we have seen them heal, grow, and blossom into Godly young women who love Jesus and seek him wholeheartedly in prayer, worship, and the Word.

Sasha, Ethan, & Silas
Renee and Derek went to Ukraine for five weeks from December 2008 to January 2009 to adopt three boys with special needs. Sasha has Spina Bifida and is paralyzed from the waist down. Ethan and Silas have Down Syndrome. The boys were living in an orphanage in northwestern Ukraine, malnourished and severely neglected. At five years old Ethan was only eleven pounds. He initially had to be fed with an eye-dropper and his only activity was to repeatedly moan while being held. Today he is eating entire meals with the family. He crawls, walks, uses sign language, talks, laughs, tickles, raises his hands in worship, and blows kisses. He is a stunning miracle!
